Thunder storm, flickering l...</title><content type='html'>Hmmm...same scenario.  Thunder storm, flickering lights, power outage (30sec at most).  Later went to use the Wii and it didn&amp;#39;t work.  Was plugged directly into wall (why?  kids?). Unplugged PS from wall and back into UPS, no change. Unplugged PS to check it with volt meter next day.  Should have 12V DC output but I got 30V DC. If I unplug after every use, the PS is fine when I next go to use it. I search the internet and found youre article. Left it unpugged and shorted the output (to drain the capacitors).
